Accessibility & Carer Scheme

We operate a Carer Ticket Scheme, at no additional cost, for our eligible visitors, available for all our Adult Ticket holders. These can be applied for when booking your tickets by following the below instructions (children won’t need an additional carer ticket, as they must be with an adult/guardian anyway – so the scheme only needs to extend to adults).

How to Book:

If you know you’ll be applying for a Carer ticket then please do not buy a ticket for them at your initial booking, as this may not be refunded if your application is approved.

You can apply for your Carer Ticket and submit supporting documentation using our online Accessibility Application Form here.

Applications will close 5 days prior to the day you wish to attend, unless sold out earlier. Each Carer ticket is provided on the understanding that your Carer is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit, and would be available and able to help you in the event of an emergency.

Carer Ticket Accepted Supporting Documents:

  • Front page of DLA/PIP letter
  • Valid access card showing that you are a plus one – https://www.accesscard.org.uk/
  • Deaf or blind registration
  • Front page of attendance allowance letter
  • War Disablement Pension
  • Recognised assistance dog I.D. card

All documentation must be dated in the last 12 months or have an indefinite PIP award within the last three year.

We recognise that the list of evidence and documents above is not definitive. If you do not have any of the above but wish to apply for access facilities at Spooky Swamp, you can do so via the Application Form (in the additional comments section) or by emailing [insert info@ email address] and we are happy to discuss your circumstances further before making a booking.
